The 10 best projects will be recorded and exhibited during the ISDH2023 conference from June 26 to July 1, 2023

Terms and conditions of the contest

The CHIMERA™ project can be realized with a virtual 3D model or from a real model (recorded with our scanner)

The CHIMERA™ hologram can be full or half-parallax and will have a size of 30×40cm and a 250 µm hogel.

The CHIMERA™ hologram will be printed with a 120° or a 180° viewing angle depending on the project.

An official jury will Award the best CHIMERA™ project.

There will be also an Award to be voted for by the participants of the conference.

The 10 selected participants will receive a free 15×20cm CHIMERA™ Hologram of their creation.

The winners will receive—in addition to their Awards—a 30×40cm CHIMERA™ Hologram as well as prizes still to be determined.

We are expecting innovative, artistic, and technical projects, and above all surprising ones!

The 30×40cm holograms printed within the framework of this contest will remain the property of the manufacturers who will keep the right to expose them later to promote Holography and the CHIMERA™ process.

Participants retain the rights to their creations. The subsequent sale of a CHIMERA™ can only be done with the agreement of the creator on a case-by-case basis.

The characteristics of a CHIMERA™?

A half-parallax CHIMERA™ is created by recording a series of 768 horizontal images on a 120°—or a 180°—arc of a circle.

A full-parallax CHIMERA™ keeps the same requirements but the procedure is repeated at 192 levels of elevation.

How to record a CHIMERA™?

A 3D model and a virtual camera in any 3D computer graphics software (Blender, Maya…). We provide full-parallax scripts for the following software: 3ds Max and Unreal Engine.

A real sill object and a real camera. In this case, it will be necessary to send us your model of size lower than 40 cm so that we can scan it thanks to our CHIMERA™ scanner.

Our technical support will be at your disposal to help you to achieve the best possible generation of perspective images.
